Your only destination to all things CARNIVAL
Prince Swanny is getting the help of Trinidad James to make it big in the music industry.
James, a Trinidadian who is a rapper and actor in the US, introduced the young dancehall singer to the US market via Sway in the morning on Sirius XM.
The show is hosted by Sway Calloway, a journalist, rapper, businessman, television and radio host.
Trinidad James said he met Swanny at a boat ride after T&T's Carnival and was blown away.
"Dancehall is doing its thing in Trinidad," said James, who said he was blown away with the talent he saw on the boat from Prince Swanny, Trinidad Ghost, Jahllano, Plumpy Boss and the other dancehall singers.
"I said I would do anything to push these youth," said James, who did a remix with Trinidad Ghost on Zesser.
James said he knew Swanny was in town and he felt he needed to meet Sway.
"I felt you were the brother to meet a brother like him," James told Sway.
Swanny gave listeners a taste of his talent as he freestyled to a beat and described Trinidad James as a big brother to him.
Swanny has been on tour in the US over the last month.
