This Grammy Singer Is Set For This Caribbean Carnival
A Grammy-winning singer is set to be part of the Carnival celebrations on one Caribbean island this month.
Singer Ashanti, known for songs like “Always on Time” and “What’s Luv?,” is set to perform in Trinidad and Tobago on Feb. 25th at soca star Machel Montano’s Carnival Monday event.
The event, themed ‘We Are The Greats,’ is set for the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain from 6 p.m.
Other acts set to perform include Jacob Desvarieux (Kassav), Ding Dong, Hoodcelebrityy, Skinny Fabulous, Farmer Nappy, Patrice Roberts, Motto, Nadia Batson, Nessa Preppy, Calypso Rose, Super Blue, 3 Canal, Shal Marshall, Problem Child, Lil Natty & Thunda, Mr. Killa, Teddyson John, M1, Holla Bak and Dloxx.
