Kassav tribute from Lu City and Maurane Voyer

Lu City, featuring Maurane Voyer, has released a new single, Gou, dedicated to the late Jacob Desvarieux and the entire Kassav family.

Lu City, whose musical style is dancehall and R&B blended with a lot of pop, is made up of artists LUJA & Ryie.

Jacob Desvarieux was lead singer and guitarist of the legendary and iconic band Kassav, renowned for bringing bouyon to the world and promoting Kreyol language and culture. He died from Covid-19 complications on 30 July, 2021.
