DJ Close Connections calls it a Day

K-Mix & Socaboy who were known together as DJ Close Connections (CC) have announced an end to their era. Close Connections which was started by Soca Flex as a crew in 2003 took to their social media last weekend to share the rather unfortunate news which came as a shock to many Fans.

In the past Close Connections have released at least 15 mixes a year, including Mixtape of Kings of NYC, Soca Storm, Miami Heat and The Soca Sextape.

In 2019 when DJ Jel asked Close Connections where they see their brand in five years, they said, “We’re working on expanding into some of the other industries revolving around the carnival culture. Additionally, we’re looking into other business opportunities that are presented surrounding night life and Caribbean culture”

Fans, Friends and Family will surely miss them.
